Charles Paré, Chief Underwriting Officer for Commercial Markets

As Chief Underwriting Officer, Charles manages Canada’s Underwriting Centre of Excellence with additional accountability for Reinsurance and Proposition Development.  He also provides executive oversight for our Risk Services capabilities in Canada.
A Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), he brings with him a wealth of experience from a number of progressively senior actuarial and underwriting roles, including 15 years with another major insurer.  Charles provides considerable technical underwriting expertise, experience, added value and insight.
