Nigel Ayers, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Nigel Ayers is Chief Financial Officer for Zurich, Canada. Nigel is a long-time Zurich employee having been with the organization for over 20 years. Previous management positions include Vice President, Finance at Zurich Life Canada, Vice President, Corporate Development, Zurich Life Canada and Vice President and Controller for Zurich Canada. Prior to joining Zurich, Nigel worked as an audit manager for public accounting firms Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand. Nigel is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He originally hails from England, where he earned his BA in Economics at Sheffield University.
