Communication and continual interaction with our Underwriting partners is one means of enhancing the service we provide. We believe customer service to be so important that we even made it a performance objective for each member of the claims team.

Claims Service Managers - A Zurich advantage

We recognize that the claims handling needs of our customers are often as diverse as their individual businesses. Where many claims may be managed using traditional methods, occasionally special handling protocols are required. Traditional or unique, effective claim service is facilitated by the role of our claim service managers.

Claim service managers work directly with all parties involved in the claims process, including the customer, broker, underwriter and the claims department, in order to identify all claims-related interests. With the stakeholder’s interests established, our claim service managers develop and implement an effective strategy that meets these interests.

Including the claim service managers early in policy discussions enables them to establish relationships and expectations prior to the filing of a claim. This proactive approach to claims handling creates continuity beyond the life of any individual claim, which extends throughout our relationship with the customer..
