Donna Mulligan

Skills and experience

Donna Mulligan leads the Middle Market unit for Zurich Canada with a team of market-facing underwriters across three regions. Mulligan joined Zurich with 20 years of experience in the Canadian property and casualty insurance market. Her experience includes managing and growing profitable insurance portfolios. She began her career at RSA, then moving to Chubb where she held roles of increasing responsibility within commercial insurance and risk management. Following Chubb, Mulligan joined Travelers as Regional Underwriting Officer, Central Region moving to the role of National Underwriting Officer, Middle Market. Just prior to joining Zurich, she led the national Middle Market Package team at Allianz in the role of Regional Underwriting Manager.

Educational background

Mulligan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Western University and an Honors diploma in Business with an Insurance Specialty from Mohawk College. She is a Chartered Insurance Professional, designated by the Insurance Institute of Canada.
