Jennifer Beaudry is Head of Communications for Zurich Canada, overseeing both internal and external communications to support business strategies and objectives, while also promoting the company’s brand, people and values.

Beaudry’s career has included high-level roles in corporate, media and government communications. Before coming to Zurich, she was Media Relations and Social Media Manager for Intact Financial Corporation (IFC), where her responsibilities also included acting as media spokesperson. Prior to that, she served as Director of Media Relations and Senior Press Secretary for the Office of the Premier of Ontario, designing and executing media plans for former Premier Kathleen Wynne and her Cabinet Ministers, as well as serving as spokesperson for Wynne and the Government of Ontario.

Earlier professional roles included Senior Press Secretary and Issues Manager for Ontario’s Office of the Minister of Energy, Supervising Assignment Editor for CTV National News, and several key positions at Corus Entertainment radio stations – including CKNW NewsTalk 980 in Vancouver, where she served as a senior editorial producer.

Educational background

Beaudry graduated with honours from the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a diploma in Broadcast Journalism and she also has a B.A. degree from Simon Fraser University, where she majored in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies.
