Zurich Canada evolves to better support customers, brokers
Toronto, Canada – July 15, 2025– Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (Canadian Branch) (Zurich Canada) today announced a series of organizational enhancements designed to better serve its customers and broker partners. Building on the momentum of the past five years, Zurich Canada is entering its next phase of growth with a renewed focus on customer-centricity and operational simplicity.
The newly unveiled structure will align Zurich Canada’s teams more closely with its key customer segments: National, Middle Market, SME, and Retail. This evolution is intended to streamline the way customers and brokers do business with Zurich and to deliver more tailored services to meet their specific needs.
New Units and Leadership Appointment
- National Accounts will be led by Dane Hambrook and will include National General Property, National Liability (including Environmental & Auto), a newly consolidated National Energy/Construction/Marine unit, Surety, and Financial Lines
- Alternative Risk Solutions will be headed by Marco Royer, overseeing Programs, MGAs, and ART/Captives
- Middle Market will continue under the leadership of Donna Mulligan and will focus on industry verticals such as Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Services, Real Estate, Wholesale, Technology, and Construction.
- Retail will encompass A&H, Travel, and Retail Partnerships (Auto & Home). The Head of Retail will report to Paul Jackson, Head of Customer & Market Management and Retail.
