As Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions Canada, Denise Maw leads Zurich's risk consulting services business in Canada. She is responsible for the strategy, performance and growth of the business, including risk engineering, climate resilience and cyber risk solutions.
She brings 25 years of experience in the insurance and risk management industry. Her experience spans risk consulting, engineering services, business development and operations leadership, with a focus on developing growth strategies, strengthening customer relationships and helping organizations manage complex risks.
Maw joined Zurich Canada in 2022 as Vice President, Zurich Resilience Solutions Canada and was appointed Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions Canada in 2023. Prior to joining Zurich, she held senior leadership positions with Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences, iv3 Loss Control Solutions, Solidifi Canada, Nacora International Insurance Brokers and RMS Risk Management Services.
Educational background
Maw holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation from the University of Toronto Mississauga and a Diploma in Human Resources from Seneca Polytechnic.
