Skills and experience

As Executive Vice President, Retail, Laura Doddington is responsible for leading Zurich Canada's Retail business across the country. In this role, she oversees the strategy, growth, and operations of the Retail division, driving profitable growth and delivering value for customers and broker partners.

Doddington brings more than 20 years of property and casualty insurance experience across the UK and North American markets. She is an accomplished P&L leader with a diverse background in product management, pricing, marketing, digital innovation, and business transformation.

Prior to joining Zurich Canada, Laura served as Head of Personal and Commercial Lines Consulting and Technology at WTW North America, where she advised insurers on industry best practices, analytics solutions, and transformation strategies. She also held senior leadership roles with leading P&C insurers in Canada and the UK, including Aviva, Desjardins, and RSA.

Educational background

Doddington is a qualified actuary and holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
