Sean O'Grady

Skills and experience

As Vice President, Regional Manager of Ontario, Sean O’Grady is accountable for the development and execution of the broad regional strategy across all businesses and segments in the region. He is also tasked with building and maintaining the regional pipeline of targeted growth opportunities for Zurich Canada, while working cross-functionally with colleagues and brokers to drive growth across the region.

Prior to his current role, Sean served as Director, General Property for the Central region. He first joined Zurich within the Property team for Zurich Australia’s Sydney branch in 2010, relocating to the Brisbane office in 2014 to oversee the Queensland state property portfolio. Sean came to Zurich Canada in 2015, handling national property accounts. Prior to his career with Zurich, he spent four years with a local personal lines insurance company in various customer service and compliance roles.

Educational background

Sean holds a Senior Associate CIP and Diploma of General Insurance through the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
