As Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, Tobias Rave leads Zurich Canada’s transformation team across the P&C business. He oversees a broad portfolio spanning operations and change management, including leadership responsibility for the CEO Office, Strategy and Business Development, Data, Analytics and AI, Technical Services, Multinational Operations, Operations Services, including Real Estate, Facilities and Workplace Experience, and Procurement, with a focus on strengthening capabilities that support growth, innovation, and customer experience.

Rave joined Zurich Canada in March 2025 from Bain & Company, where he spent over a decade advising global insurance organizations on large-scale transformation, innovation, and growth strategy. His work focused on helping insurers modernize operations, enhance digital capabilities, and deliver sustainable business performance.

Educational background

Rave holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and the Wharton School, a Masters in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen, and a Bachelor of Science from RWTH Aachen University.
